FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME
Greetings from Kingston High.It gives me great pleasure to be working as Managing Director at Kingston High. It has taken seven years for a little dream of starting a school, to finally materialize and take shape. It is truly God’s hand that was upon this vision. When I look back in years, I see we had no funds, no building or man power. It was with determination and complete faith in the Lord, that we started our first school “Toddlers Zone’ a Pre-School.
Today Kingston High stands as a testimony for what the Lord has done. It was after much deliberation that the name Kingston was chosen for the school. It means’ The King’s Settlement.’ Rightfully so, this would be the settlement of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and would continue to remain a blessing for generations to come. My dream is to see our children grow in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and all the people. May Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless the children and our staff as we grow in Kingston High.
Warm Wishes to EveryoneI BELIEVE THIS VERSE FROM THE BIBLE EXPLAINS IT ALL.
‘For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good work, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 ‘
As a child, I grew up in a school atmosphere of which my mother was the Founder and Principal. It was a Pre School which was started after I was born and which over the years grew to be a High School. Though I was a keen observer of how things functioned, I never imagined that someday I would get into the same profession as my mother.
I had no idea what God’s Plan for me was but as it is said ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.’ Proverbs 19:21
Being born into a family of educationists and married into a family that had always nurtured a dream to start a School, God guided me and my family, to start a Preschool in 2009, called ‘Toddlers’ Zone’. Now we know how God plans things. Soon our passion and hard work was appreciated by parents associated with the school and we received a lot of love, support and encouragement from them. This meant that we were here to stay.
God had a bigger plan for us. With His special favour on us we started our very own K12 School, and we called it Kingston High.
I share a very special bond with all our students. Little kids have a charisma which draws me towards them. I treasure each and every moment I get to spend with the children. Children are precious and I am grateful to God for choosing me to be a part of His great plan.
I Praise and Thank God for Kingston High.
Foreword from the Principal
Welcome to Kingston High!
21st century education is evolving. In the past, education focused mainly on the goal, today focus is also on the process; Education was teacher centric, today it is student centric. This paradigm shift brought about by Globalization and rapid advances in Information and Technology, has seen the emergence of new pedagogies that understand the uniqueness of a child and aim at developing abilities that are inherent in him.
At Kingston High we understand the needs of the changing times and the importance of gearing our students to meet the demands of a global society. We believe that every child is an individual entity and that no two individuals are alike. It is our endeavour, to identify the abilities of a child and guide him through his strengths to reach his full potential. It is our endeavour to ignite the minds of children and arouse in them the love for learning and the desire to acquire new knowledge and be able to use it in real life situations successfully.
Through a well planned integrated curriculum and supporting co-curricular activities planned by a forward thinking, proactive Management and implemented by motivated and dedicated teachers we aim to achieve academic excellence in students, and instill in them positive attitude, a sound value system, social awareness and a sense of self worth.
Let us join hands and work towards a common goal – ‘Empowering Our Children’. Looking forward to working with you.

At Kingston High we treat our Kingston Cubs with love, care and respect. Our curriculum is theme based that integrates concept formation and skill development. The curriculum connects all classroom learning with real life experiences, facilitating better understanding of concepts. Learning includes methods that are fun, experiential, arouses curiosity, gives freedom of expression and develops creativity.

“The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.”
- Denis Waitley
After completing four years at the Kindergarten level students now step into a more structured environment-the Primary School.
- The curriculum works on the principles of Howard Gardener’s Multiple Intelligences and every unit is introduced through an experience.
- We use KWL strategy, wherein a lesson is built on what a child already knows, it progresses to what a child wants to know and finally to what the child has learnt. This creates interest and motivates the child to be an active participant in the entire learning process.
- Discussions, experimentation, hands on group and individual classroom activities, projects, field trips form the basis on which a child’s acquisition of knowledge takes place. They also become confident, self –reliant and self-disciplined individuals.
- Assessments are conducted periodically to test conceptual understanding, applied thinking and English Language and Comprehension.
- The role of a teacher in this entire process is that of a facilitator who allows the child to progress on his own strength.
